Indian Women's Team Win Spanish Hockey Tournament 2023

The Indian women's hockey team defeated the host Spanish team by 3-0 on 30 July 2023 to top the points table and win the three nation 100th anniversary Spanish Hockey Federation International tournament 2023. Katariya, Monika and Udita scored one goal each in the match against Spain.

• The 100th anniversary Spanish Hockey Federation International tournament 2023 also known as Torneo del Centenario 2023 was held in Terrassa, Barcelona, Spain. 

• Three teams Spain, India and England participated in the tournament which was held in the round robin format. The Indian team remained undefeated in the tournament.

• The Indian men’s hockey team led by Harmanpreet Singh finished third in the 100th anniversary Spanish Hockey Federation International tournament 2023. Spain won the championship by beating England in the final. The fourth team, Netherland, finished last.
