Prime Minister Narendra Modi virtually inaugurated the 3rd India Energy Week being held in New Delhi on 11 February 2025. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on an official visit to France from 10-12th February 2025. He is in France to co-chair the AI Action Summit along with the French President Emmanuel Macron.
During the virtual inauguration of the 3rd India Energy Week the Union Minister of Petroleum & Natural Gas, Hardeep Singh Puri, and other dignitaries were present.
India Energy Week showcases India as an important energy market in the world.
The first Indian Energy Week was held in Bengaluru, Karnataka from 6-8 February 2023.
The second edition of the India Energy Week was held from 6-9 February 2024 in Goa.
The third edition of the India Energy Week is being held in New Delhi from 11-14 February 2025.
The India Energy Week is jointly organised by the Federation of Indian Petroleum Industry (FIPI) and the DMG Events, under the overall patronage of the Union Ministry for Petroleum and Natural Gas.
Public sector company ONGC is the principal partner and the French multinational company Total Energies is the International Partner of the 3rd India Energy Week.
The India Energy Week provides a platform for regional and global energy companies with an opportunity to network with key buyers from over 120 countries across the full energy value chain.

Clean Cooking Ministerial Meeting
On the sidelines of the 3rd India Energy Week, the Union Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas will host a Clean Cooking Ministerial.
The Clean Cooking Ministerial will provide a platform for policymakers, industry leaders, and experts to promote international collaboration and facilitate technology sharing to ensure clean, affordable, and accessible cooking energy for households worldwide.
During this meeting, India will highlight Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana and its success in providing clean and affordable cooking energy such as LPG(liquefied petroleum gas) to rural poor households.
