Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Vibrant Gujarat Global Trade Show in Gandhinagar on 9 January 2024. During this time, many dignitaries from India and abroad were present. Prominent among them are Mozambique President Filipe Nyusi, Timor Leste President Jose Ramos-Horta and Gujarat CM Bhupendra Patel. The five-day global trade exhibition is being organized from 9 to 14 January 2024.

- Vibrant Gujarat Global Trade Show, spread over an area of two lakh square meters, is India's largest global trade show till date.
- A total of 100 countries are participating as guest countries in the five-day global trade exhibition. 33 countries are joining it as partners.
- Over 1,000 exhibitors from the research sector representing 20 countries, including Australia, South Korea and Singapore are participating in the trade show.

- PM Modi held a meeting with the Presidents of UAE, Mozambique and Timor Leste on the sidelines of the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit.
- Discussed various ways to take forward bilateral relations with these countries.
PM Modi holds meeting with top global CEOs:
- Met with CEOs of many world-renowned companies during the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit. Mainly among these:
- Sanjay Mehrotra serves as the Chief Executive Officer and President of Micron Technology.
- Toshihiro Suzuki, representative director and president of Suzuki Motor Corp.
Roadshow with UAE President Mohammed bin Nahyan:
- Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a road show with UAE President Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
- This road show was organized from Sardar Patel International Airport Ahmedabad to Gandhinagar. Several Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) were signed between India and UAE in the presence of both leaders.
Vibrant Gujarat Summit:
- It was conceived by Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi in the year 2003.
- The main objective of organizing this summit was to re-establish Gujarat as a preferred investment destination or state.
- This summit provides a suitable platform to brainstorm on an agenda related to global socio-economic development, knowledge sharing etc.
