Lucknow to Host Third Sādhana Śhrinkhla Workshop on October 23–24

The Capacity Building Commission (CBC) will organize the third regional workshop of Sādhana Śhrinkhla 2026 in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, on October 23 and 24, 2026. The two-day conference will bring together leaders from Northern Indian States and Union Territories to modernize Government Training Institutes under Mission Karmayogi.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will inaugurate the workshop alongside Dr. Jitendra Singh, Union Minister of State (IC) for Science and Technology and Earth Sciences.

What Is Sādhana Śhrinkhla 2026?

Sādhana Śhrinkhla stands for Strengthening Adaptive Development and Humane Aptitude for National Advancement. The Capacity Building Commission designed this four-part regional workshop series to drive institutional reforms in public sector training.

The initiative expands on earlier national programs, including Sādhana Saptah 2026 (held April 2–8) and the National Departmental Summit in May 2026.

• Vijayawada: September 29–30, 2026 (Southern Region)
• Guwahati: October 9, 2026 (North Eastern Region)
• Lucknow: October 23–24, 2026 (Northern Region)

Participating States and Union Territories

The Government of Uttar Pradesh will host delegates from 8 States and 4 Union Territories:

• States: Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jharkhand, Punjab, Rajasthan, and Uttarakhand.
• Union Territories: Chandigarh, Delhi, Jammu and Kashmir, and Ladakh.

Senior civil servants, heads of civil service training institutes, and technology experts will collaborate to address governance challenges across diverse terrains—from the Himalayas to the Thar Desert.

Core Focus Areas of the Lucknow Consultations

The workshop will address four critical pillars to prepare civil servants for technological shifts and changing citizen expectations:

1. Institutional Governance & Leadership: Modernizing management models across public academies.
2. Operational Collaboration: Facilitating resource-sharing and joint training modules across states.
3. Faculty & Institutional Competencies: Upgrading teaching standards and practical curriculum design.
4. Digital Transformation & AI: Integrating Artificial Intelligence and digital tools into civil service training.

The UNNATI Portal and Future Roadmap

The Unified New-Age National Training Initiatives (UNNATI) portal serves as the primary digital platform for these reforms. Launched during Sādhana Saptah 2026, UNNATI connects over 700 Training Institutes across India.

Impact of UNNATI:

• Links training modules directly to Capacity Building Plans.
• Enables real-time resource sharing among state academies.
• Provides data-driven tracking for skill gaps.

Insights from the Lucknow summit will directly inform the Training Institute Transformation Framework, advancing Mission Karmayogi's goal to build a future-ready civil service for Viksit Bharat 2047.
