Union Minister for Communications and Development of North Eastern Region, Jyotiraditya Scindia, inaugurated the 22nd edition of Bharat Telecom in New Delhi on 6 May 2025. Bharat Telecom is an annual event that aims to present India as a provider of world-class telecom solutions.
The 22nd edition of the Bharat Telecom Expo is being held on 6 and 7 May 2025 in New Delhi.
Who organises Bharat Telecom?
- The Bharat Telecom Expo is organised by the Telecom Equipment and Services Export Promotion Council (TEPC) in partnership with the Department of Telecommunications (DoT).
- The Telecom Equipment and Services Export Promotion Council is under the Union Ministry of Commerce and Industry.
- The Department of Telecommunications comes under the Union Ministry of Communications and Information Technology.
About the Bharat Telecom 2025
The Bharat Telecom Expo has been conceived as an international business expo and a reverse buyer-seller meet.
- It provides a platform for the Indian telecom industry to meet the global leaders in the entire telecom value chain.
- More than 130 foreign delegates from over 35 countries, representing government bodies and private enterprises, are participating in the 22nd edition of Bharat Telecom.
- Around 80 leading Indian Telecom and Information and Communication Technology (ICT) companies are showcasing their innovative products and solutions across multiple domains in the sector.

About Telecom Equipment and Services Export Promotion Council (TEPC)
The Telecom Equipment and Services Export Promotion Council (TEPC) is one of the 14 export promotion councils under the Union Ministry of Commerce and Industry.
It was established in 2009 under the Foreign Trade Policy.

- The roles and functions of the TEPC are guided by the Foreign Trade Policy 2023.
- Promote and develop the export of Telecom Equipment and Services.
- Help Indian companies facilitate their exports easily.
