Abhishek Pal and Sanjivani Jadhav, respectively, won the Indian elite men's and women's races of the TCS World 10K Bengaluru 2025.
The $2,10,000 prize money TCS World 10K Bengaluru 2025 was held in Bengaluru, Karnataka, on April 27, 2025. The Bengaluru race was part of the World Athletics Label Road Races. World Athletics is the world’s governing body of Athletics.
The Bengaluru race had two categories: an international elite section and an Indian elite section.

Men section
Ugandan Joshua Cheptegei, the 2024 Paris Olympic gold medalist in the 10,000 meters, won the race in 27 minutes 53 seconds. Joshua had earlier participated in the 2014 event, where he came second.
Women
Sarah Chelangat of Uganda finished the race in 31 minutes 07 seconds to claim the title.
Both Joshua Cheptegei won $ 26,000 each.
The 2023 Asian Athletics Championships 10,000m bronze medallist Abhisek Pal won the Indian elite men’s race, clocking 29 minutes 12 seconds. He also broke Kiran Matre's record.
women
Sanjivani Jadhav won the Indian elite women's race for the fourth consecutive time.
Abhishek and Sanjivani won the prize money of Rs 3 lakhs each. Abhishek won an additional prize of Rs one lakh for setting a new Indian record.
The 28th National Federation Senior Athletics Competition 2025 was held at the Maharaja College Stadium, Kochi, in Ernakulam District, Kerala, from April 21 to 24, 2025. The Kerala State Athletics Association organised it.
Shaili Singh record
Many national records were set at the 28th Fed Cup. Shaili Singh broke the 23-year-old record of Anju Bobby George in the women’s long jump with a leap of 6.64 meters. Anju Bobby George set a national record in 2002 with a jump of 6.59 meters.
Asian Athletics Championship 2025
The Athletics Federation of India used the event to select athletes for the forthcoming Asian Athletics Championship 2025, to be held in Gumi, South Korea, from May 27 to 31, 2025.
