Indo-American Dr. Kamal Menghrajani included in White House Fellow list

The Indian origin American physician Dr Kamal Menghrajani has been included in the list of 15 individuals as White House Fellows for 2023-24.
As a White House fellow ,Dr Menghrajani will work with senior White House Staff, Cabinet Secretaries, and other top-ranking administration officials for a year. Dr. Menghrajani will work with the Cancer Moonshot and Health Outcomes teams at the Office of Science and Technology Policy in the Executive Office of the President,
Dr Menghrajani is from New York. As an entrepreneur, she has co-founded startups to address unmet needs in cancer treatment and deploy AI for rapid cancer diagnosis. She helped grow the non-profit Nourish International, which engages student leaders as social entrepreneurs in international development work.

Dr Kamal Menghrajani is a cancer physician ,speacilaist in treatment of leukaemia. Leukaemia is cancer of the blood characterised by uncontrolled growth of white blood cells in the human body. The word leukaemia comes from the Greek words for “white” (leukos) and “blood” (haima). The white blood cells are part of the human body's immune system which protect our body from infection.
