The Kalinga Super Cup 2025 final was played at Bhubaneshwar, Odisha, on 3 May 2025.

The tournament name is Super Cup, but as the Odisha government sponsors it, it has been known as the Kalinga Super Cup since the 2024 edition. It is held at Kalinga Stadium, Bhubaneswar, Odisha.

First team to win the Super Cup twice

FC Goa, also known as Gaurs, became the first team in the Kalinga Super Cup history to win it twice. It won the Kalinga Super Cup in 2019.

FC Goa was playing its second final of the Kalinga Super Cup, while it was the first final for Jamshedpur FC.

It was the fourth time the two teams met in the Super Cup. In the  2018 and 2019 editions, the Gaur defeated Jamshedpur FC in the quarterfinals. Jamshedpur FC, which is also known as Red Miners, defeated FC Goa in the group stage of the 2023 edition.

However, in the Super Cup 2025 finals, Gaurs defeated Red Miners 3-0. Borja Gonzale scored twice, and Dejan Drazic scored the goals for the Gaurs in the final.

It was also Manolo Marquez's last match as the coach of FC Goa. He will take over as the head coach of the senior Indian men’s football team.
