The Rajasthan government has set its priorities on 22 December 2023. In these priorities, it has been decided to provide free education to girls from KG class to postgraduate (PG). Along with this, the state government has also determined many other priorities.

Main priorities of the Rajasthan Government:

It has been decided to provide free education to the girl students of the state.
Along with this, the government has decided to provide jobs to 2.5 lakh youth in the next five years.
The government will provide gas cylinders to poor families for Rs. 450. The government itself will bear the subsidy amount for this.
Under PM Kisan Samman Nidhi, the amount of financial assistance for farmers will be increased to Rs 12 thousand per year.
Five lakh youth will be trained in the state with an investment of Rs 2,500 crore. Youth will be trained and provided employment opportunities in the tourism sector. The government will try to ensure that youth can be self-employed in the tourism sector.
With an investment of Rs 800 crore, regional heritage centres will be established in major cultural areas.
The government has given special emphasis on farmers and women among its priorities. The government has decided to make a policy to compensate the farmers whose land was auctioned during the previous government.
In this, care will be taken that the farmers can earn their livelihood again by taking land or other means.

Formation of Anti Romeo Squad in all the cities of the state:

Women police stations and women desks will be formed in every police station in every district. Also, anti-Romeo squads will be formed in all the cities of Rajasthan.
Additional Director General of Police Dinesh MN has been given the responsibility to maintain law and order and curb crimes against women.
SIT has already been formed to investigate the paper leak case of recruitment in the previous government.

Chief Minister will continuously review the priorities:

Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma has instructed Chief Secretary Usha Sharma and Director General of Police Umesh Mishra to assign department-wise responsibilities to fulfil the priorities of the government.
The Chief Minister himself will constantly review the progress of the efforts being made in this direction.

Formation of new government in Rajasthan:

In Rajasthan, on 15 December 2023, “Bhajan Lal Sharma” took the oath of office and secrecy as the new Chief Minister. Along with Bhajan Lal Sharma, two Deputy Chief Ministers “Diya Kumari” and “Premchand Bairwa” have also taken oath.
State Governor Kalraj Mishra administered the oath of office and secrecy to the Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister in Jaipur.
