The 8th Madhya Pradesh Global Investor Summit concluded at Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh on 25th February 2025. The two-day 8th Madhya Pradesh Global Investor Summit was held on 24-25th February 2025 at the Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya in Bhopal.
The Global Investor Summit is a biennial event organised by the Madhya Pradesh government to showcase the investment potential of the state to the domestic and foreign investors.
About 60 countries' representatives, policy makers, prominent Indian industrial houses and other business groups attended the Summit meeting.
The 8th Madhya Pradesh Global Investor Summit was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 24 February 2025. Prime Minister Narendra said that Madhya Pradesh, which was once considered a BIMARU state, is now one of the leading states in India in the field of agriculture, automobile and electric vehicles, etc.
The ‘BIMARU’ term was coined by demographer Ashish Bose in the 1980s, including undivided Bihar, undivided Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh.
The valedictory session of the 8th Madhya Pradesh Global Investor Summit 2025 was addressed by the Union Minister for Home Affairs and Minister of Cooperation Amit Shah.
The Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Mohan Yadav was also present.
