1. The UP Staff Nurse Mains Exam follows a conventional format with a duration of 3 hours and a total score of 85 marks. 
2. It consists of descriptive questions answered in pen and paper mode. 
3. Part A includes 5 questions, each carrying 5 marks with a word limit of 125 words per question. 
4. In Part B, candidates choose any 4 out of 6 questions, each worth 15 marks, with a word limit of 300 words per question. 
5. This format assesses candidates' ability to articulate comprehensive responses within specified constraints.
