Stenographer (Ashulipik)

The stenographer will conduct speech writing for high officials. Attend a press conference and take down all of the meeting's important points in brief. Carry out all of the obligations and tasks delegated to by the superiors.

Village Development Officer (Gram Vikas Adhikari)

A VDO will have various development-related works, such as the sanitation of the village, deciding a location for manure storage, supporting educational, health, and agricultural infrastructures, looking after maternal and child welfare issues, and controlling water supply, among some other village-related issues, such as:

  • Obtaining villagers' feedback on various programmes to be implemented.
  • Attending regular meetings.
  • Registering births, deaths, and marriages and keeping records for numerous departments.

Forest Guard (Van Daroga)

  • Maintaining forest area’s laws and order is their prime duty.
  • In addition to conserving, protecting, and managing forests, they monitor revenue and expenditure records and prepare and submit reports.
  • As part of their responsibilities, they plan and direct forest development and forest protection. Following the government's norms and requirements, forest geography must be conserved by them. 

Cane supervisor (Ganna Nirikshak)

The prime responsibility is to carry out government schemes for sugarcane producers in the state/district of appointment. Taking care of the designated sugarcane area's production, purchasing, and supply survey. Prepare and submit work-related reports, as well as organize farmer awareness campaigns for improved agricultural output.

Junior Assistant & Clerk

  • Junior Assistants help in various departments of an organization, such as helping managers with day-to-day office. 
  • Clerks will look after the field tasks like file dispatching, typing, recording, indexing, statement preparation, file registering, and other duties. 
  • Accounting and administrative junior assistants will be assigned more professional and domain-specific work.

Mandi Supervisor/Inspector

Mandi inspectors inspect the private/government Mandi to which they are assigned after the completion of their training period.

Their main duties/responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining the smooth operation of Mandi in accordance with government norms and regulations.
  • Taking taxes from retailers and depositing them in the government's books.
  • If a Mandi does not comply with agricultural legislation, the Inspector must report it to the government.
  • It is the mandi inspector's responsibility to resolve any issues that may arise on the premises of the mandi.

Revenue Lekhpal

Revenue Lekhpal, commonly known as UP Lekhpal, is in charge of maintaining the village revenue account and land records. He must be well-versed in all locals, including the mukhyas and village elites. 

His duties include looking after grievances and reporting revisions pertaining to mutations and partitions. 

Performing land-related surveys, inspecting fields of the respective village, collecting crop statistics, and revising official village maps for development. 

Auditor

His key role comprises assembling data, verification, and analysis in spreadsheets, as well as examining the organization’s financial control and accounting procedures.

He also identifies the Financial Risk Levels of an organization and verifies the dependability and accuracy of financial data and records.

UPSSSC Salary Structure & Special Allowances after PET 2023

For the posts mentioned above, candidates who are successful in the Mains examination will receive a salary ranging between Rs. 5200 and Rs. 20200. The grade pay for the Group C posts varies depending on the Pay Level for that particular post, which is Level 2, 3, 4, and 5.
