Women and Child Development Corporation has been established under the Society Registration Act 4860 for the welfare of women. It is working as a nodal agency for schemes run for the welfare of women. Many policies and schemes are being implemented by the Corporation for the empowerment of girls and women in the state.

The post of District Project Manager is a district-level regional post under the Women and Child Development Corporation. The District Project Manager is responsible for monitoring and implementing all the schemes/projects under the district run by the Corporation. 2. Educational Qualification

Candidates must have a PG Diploma/Master's Degree in Social Sciences (Sociology/Psychology/Social Work/Women Studies/Anthropology/Economics/Labor and Social Welfare (LSW)/Public Administration/Political Science) or Human Resources/ Finance/ Marketing. A Master of Business Administration degree is required.

Note: Higher educational degree holders in addition to the prescribed educational qualifications in subjects linked to women will be given preference. Additionally, applicants must have computer-related courses and experience in computer operation.

3. Work Experience

Candidates must have a Minimum of 2 years of work experience in areas related to women development in government institutions or government government-affiliated institutions or reputed national/international institutions.

Bihar WCDC District Project Manager Selection Process 2023

Candidates will be selected on the basis of a two-stage selection process for the District Project Manager Post in Bihar. 

• Stage-I: Shortlisting of Applications on the basis of marks in essential qualifications.

Candidates will be selected on the basis of a Maximum 50 marks on the percentage of marks obtained for essential educational qualifications prescribed for the post of District Project Manager, maximum 10 marks for additional higher educational qualifications on subjects related to women, maximum 25 marks for work experience, and maximum 45 marks for interview. 

For the merit list prepared on the basis of the percentage of marks obtained in the minimum educational qualification prescribed for the candidates, marks obtained for additional related higher educational qualification, and marks obtained for work experience, 5 times the number of vacant posts will be shortlisted.

• Stage-II Interview (Counselling)

At least 5 times the candidates (category-wise) will be shortlisted for counseling/interview by the final authority vested in the Women and Child Development Corporation. At the time of counseling, the marks obtained by the candidates will be verified on the basis of an online application. 

During the counseling process candidates must bring the original and self-attested copies of the necessary documents like educational certificate/academic marks sheet, work experience certificate, and original copy of identity card (Aadhar Card/PAN Card//Driving License/Voter Card). After verification, the original copy of the certificate will be returned to the candidates.

Important: Women and Child Development Corporation will reserve the right to cancel their candidature in case marks are obtained by making a wrong claim in the verification. In case the candidates provide wrong information regarding their certificates in the online application, after investigation, their candidature will be canceled and necessary legal action will be taken by the Corporation.

Bihar WCDC District Project Manager Salary 2023

All the selected candidates as District Project Managers will get a consolidated monthly salary of Rs 48,290. Apart from this, EPF mediclaim will be payable as per the Human Resource Rules of Women and Child Development Corporation and service conditions will apply.
