Indian Navy Agniveer SSR Notification has been issued on the Indian Navy’s official website. Applications will be open for unmarried male and female candidates, who meet the eligibility criteria set by the Government of India, for enrollment as Agniveer (SSR) for the 02/2024 batch. Indian Navy SSR Eligibility Criteria 2024

Nationality

Indian citizens can apply online for the Indian Navy SSR 2024.

Age Limit & Relaxation

Candidates must be born between 1 November 2003 and 30 April 2007 to apply for the Indian Navy SSR positions.

Educational Qualification

Candidates must meet one of the following educational criteria for the Agniveer SSR position:

1. Completion of 10+2 with Mathematics and Physics from a school board recognized by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, with at least 50% marks overall.
2. Achievement of a three-year diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Automobiles, Computer Science, Instrumentation Technology, Information Technology) from a Polytechnic Institute recognized by any Central, State, or Union Territory authority, with a minimum of 50% marks overall.
3. Completion of a two-year Vocational Course with Non-vocational subjects including Physics and Mathematics from an Education Board recognized by any Central, State, or Union Territory, with at least 50% marks in aggregate.

Note: Candidates who have completed their 12th Board Exam and are awaiting results are eligible to apply, provided they meet all other eligibility criteria.

Physical Standard

Passing the Physical Fitness Test (PFT) is essential for selection as an Agniveer SSR. Candidates participating in the PFT do so at their own risk. The standard for the Indian Agniveer Physical Fitness Test for Agniveer SSR is as follows:

Marital Status 

Unmarried Indian male and female candidates are the only ones eligible to enroll as Agniveers in the Indian Navy. Candidates are required to furnish a certificate verifying their unmarried status upon enrollment. Agniveers are not allowed to marry throughout their four-year tenure in the Navy. Any candidate who marries during this period, or is found to have been married despite certifying otherwise, will be dismissed from service.

Indian Navy SSR Application Process

The application window for the Indian Navy SSR 2024 will be open on 13 May, with submissions accepted until 5 June 2024. Here are the steps to apply for the Indian Navy Agniveer 2024:

1. Visit the official Indian Navy website.
2. On the homepage, select the “Register” tab.
3. To complete the SSR registration process provide your valid Aadhar number and mobile number.
4. After registering, log in using the provided credentials and complete the Indian Navy SSR online application form.
5. Upload documents and proceed to pay the application fee. 
6. Take a printout of the final submission page of the Indian Navy SSR Agniveer for future reference.

Application Fees 

To complete the application process of India Navy candidates should pay a fee of Rs. 550/- (Rupees Five hundred fifty only) plus 18% GST during the online application process. Payment can be processed online using net banking, Visa/Master/RuPay Credit/Debit Card, or UPI. Admit cards will be issued exclusively to candidates who have successfully completed the payment of the examination fee.

Stage I – Shortlisting through the Indian Navy Entrance Test (INET).

Stage II – Physical Fitness Test (PFT), Written Examination, and Recruitment Medical Examination.

Indian Navy SSR Exam Pattern

Agniveer SSR 2024 Exam Pattern can be checked in the Indian Navy Notification 2024. Candidates should check the exam pattern first before applying for the course. Here we are detailing the examination pattern for the entrance examination for your reference:-

1. The exam will be computer-based mode
2. The exam will consist of 100 multiple-choice questions, with a total of 100 marks.
3. Each question carries a 1 mark. For every incorrect answer, a penalty of one-fourth (0.25) of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted.
4. Questions will be bilingual (Hindi & English).
5. The paper will include four sections: English, Science, Mathematics, and General Awareness.
6. The question paper will adhere to the 10+2 syllabus.
7. Candidates have to complete the examination within one hour.
8. Candidates must pass all sections as well as achieve an overall passing grade.

Indian Navy Agniveer SSR Service Period

Agniveers will join the Indian Navy under the Navy Act of 1957 for four years.

Agniveers will constitute a unique rank that is distinct from all existing ranks and will be considered the most junior rank in the Indian Navy. There is no obligation for the Indian Navy to extend the engagement of Agniveers beyond these four years. Agniveers are granted 30 days leave per year. Additionally, sick leave will be granted based on the recommendations of a competent medical authority.

Indian Navy SSR Result 2024 

Indian Navy SSR Result will be declared by the Indian Navy after the exam is conducted. The results of the computer-based online examination will tentatively be announced within 30 days. Shortlisted candidates will then be summoned for Stage II, which includes the Physical Fitness Test, Written Examination, and Recruitment Medical Examination. Indian Navy SSR 2024 Exam Cut-off 

Indian Navy Cut-off marks 2024 will be announced by the Indian Navy after the exam is conducted. The merit list will be formulated based on performance in the Stage-II written exam, provided the candidates have qualified in the Physical Fitness Test and Recruitment Medical Examination. The Merit List for Agniveer (SSR) – male and female will be organized according to state-wise merit. The cut-off marks for issuing call-up letters for recruitment at INS Chilka may differ from one state to another. Once the cut-off mark is declared, we will update this page accordingly. 

Indian Navy SSR 2024 Salary

Agniveers will receive a monthly salary of ₹30,000, which will increase annually with a fixed increment. Additional allowances for risk, hardship, dress, and travel will also be provided. Upon completion of their service, Agniveers will be eligible for a one-time Seva Nidhi package, which includes their own contributions matched by the government.
