Applications will be open for unmarried male and female candidates, who meet the eligibility criteria set by the Government of India, for enrollment as Agniveer (SSR) for the 02/2024 batch. Unmarried Indian male and female candidates are the only ones eligible to enroll as Agniveers in the Indian Navy. Candidates are required to furnish a certificate verifying their unmarried status upon enrollment. Agniveers are not allowed to marry throughout their four-year tenure in the Navy. Any candidate who marries during this period, or is found to have been married despite certifying otherwise, will be dismissed from service.
The application window for the Indian Navy SSR 2024 will be open on 13 May, with submissions accepted until 5 June 2024. Here are the steps to apply for the Indian Navy Agniveer 2024:
To complete the application process of India Navy candidates should pay a fee of Rs. 550/- (Rupees Five hundred fifty only) plus 18% GST during the online application process. Payment can be processed online using net banking, Visa/Master/RuPay Credit/Debit Card, or UPI. Admit cards will be issued exclusively to candidates who have successfully completed the payment of the examination fee.

Stage I – Shortlisting through the Indian Navy Entrance Test (INET).

Agniveers will join the Indian Navy under the Navy Act of 1957 for four years.
Agniveers will constitute a unique rank that is distinct from all existing ranks and will be considered the most junior rank in the Indian Navy. There is no obligation for the Indian Navy to extend the engagement of Agniveers beyond these four years. Agniveers are granted 30 days leave per year. Additionally, sick leave will be granted based on the recommendations of a competent medical authority.
Indian Navy Agniveer Admit Card has been issued on 1 July 2024. Candidates are required to download Call up Letters cum Admit Cards for the PFT/written examination from the official website or via email. Indian Navy SSR Result will be declared by the Indian Navy after the exam is conducted. The results of the computer-based online examination will tentatively be announced within 30 days. Shortlisted candidates will then be summoned for Stage II, which includes the Physical Fitness Test, Written Examination, and Recruitment Medical Examination. Indian Navy Agniveer SSR 2024 Result Link (Inactive)
Indian Navy Cut-off marks 2024 will be announced by the Indian Navy after the exam is conducted. The merit list will be formulated based on performance in the Stage-II written exam, provided the candidates have qualified in the Physical Fitness Test and Recruitment Medical Examination. The Merit List for Agniveer (SSR) – male and female will be organized according to state-wise merit. The cut-off marks for issuing call-up letters for recruitment at INS Chilka may differ from one state to another. Once the cut-off mark is declared, we will update this page accordingly.
Agniveers will receive a monthly salary of ₹30,000, which will increase annually with a fixed increment. Additional allowances for risk, hardship, dress, and travel will also be provided. Upon completion of their service, Agniveers will be eligible for a one-time Seva Nidhi package, which includes their own contributions matched by the government.
