As Agniveer MR you will join the Indian Navy in various positions such as Chef, Steward and Hygienist. Below we are detailing the roles of these positions:-

1. Agniveer (MR) - Chef Role:- In this role, you will be responsible for preparing both vegetarian and non-vegetarian meals, including handling meat products, and managing food supplies. Additionally, you will receive training in firearm use and be assigned various tasks to support the smooth operation of the organization.
2. Agniveer (MR) - Steward Role:- As a Steward, your duties will include serving food in Officers' messes, performing housekeeping tasks, managing funds, overseeing wine and store inventories, and assisting in menu preparation. You will also be trained in handling firearms and undertake additional responsibilities to ensure the organization runs efficiently.
3. Agniveer (MR) - Hygienist Role:- In this position, your main responsibility will be to uphold hygiene standards in washrooms and other designated areas. Educational Qualification

1. The educational qualification for Indian Navy MR 2024 requires candidates to have passed the Matriculation Examination with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks from Boards of School Education recognized by the Ministry of Education, Government of India.
2. Candidates who have appeared for the Class 10th Board Exam and are awaiting results are also eligible to apply, provided they meet all other eligibility criteria. However, their selection will be confirmed only upon presenting the original mark sheet during Stage II of the recruitment process (Internet copy of mark sheet not acceptable). 
3. Additionally, these candidates must secure the minimum required marks in both aggregate and individual subjects for their respective categories to be eligible for participation in Stage II.

Physical Standard

Passing the Physical Fitness Test (PFT) is compulsory for aspiring Agniveer MR candidates. Candidates undertake the PFT at their own risk. The Indian Agniveer Physical Fitness Test standards for Agniveer MR are as follows:

Marital Status 

Only single/unmarried Indian men and women can apply to become Agniveer MR in the Indian Navy. Applicants must provide proof of their single status at the time of enrollment. Agniveers are prohibited from marrying during their four-year tenure in the IN. Any candidate who marries during their service period or is discovered to be already married despite claiming to be single will be dismissed from duty.

Indian Navy Agniveer MR Service Period

Agniveer MR individuals will be enlisted in the Indian Navy under the Navy Act 1957 for four years. They will constitute a unique rank separate from any existing rank and will hold the position of the junior-most rank in the Indian Navy. The Indian Navy is not obligated to extend the service of Agniveers beyond the initial engagement period of four years. Agniveers are entitled to 30 days of annual leave per year. Moreover, sick leave will be granted based on the recommendation of a competent medical authority.

The Indian Navy MR Result will be declared by the Indian Navy following the completion of the examination. Indian Navy MR 2024 Exam Cut-off 

The Indian Navy will announce the Cut-off marks 2024 following the completion of the examination. The merit list will be formulated based on candidates' performance in the Stage-II written exam, contingent upon their qualification in the Physical Fitness Test and Recruitment Medical Examination. The Merit List for Agniveer (MR) – males and females will be categorized according to state-wise merit.
