Nationality

Candidates should be Indian citizens to apply for the Indian Navy Cadet Entry Scheme 2025.

Age Limit & Relaxation

Educational Qualification

2. They should have secured a minimum aggregate of 70% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM), with at least 50% in English (either in Class X or XII). 
3. Additionally, candidates who appeared for the JEE (Main) - 2023 exam for B.E/B. Tech will be assessed based on their All India Common Rank List (CRL) - 2023 published by NTA and call-ups for the Service Selection Board (SSB) will be issued accordingly.

The Indian Navy B. Tech Cadet Entry Scheme 2025 selection process consists of the following stages:

1. Initial Screening: Candidates are shortlisted based on eligibility and academic qualifications for the Services Selection Board (SSB) interview.
2. SSB Interview: Shortlisted candidates undergo a comprehensive interview by the Services Selection Board. This evaluates intelligence, personality traits and suitability for a career in the Indian Navy.
3. Medical Examination: Candidates who pass the SSB interview undergo a thorough medical examination to ensure they meet the prescribed medical standards for Indian Navy service. This examines both physical and mental fitness.
4. Merit List: A merit list is prepared based on SSB marks. Candidates declared medically fit proceed to appointment pending police and character verification, subject to vacancy availability in the entry.

Indian Navy B.Tech Cadet 2025 Training

For the Indian Navy's (10+2) B. Tech Cadet Entry Scheme 2025 training:

(a) Candidates selected will enrol as Cadets for a four-year B. Tech Course in Applied Electronics & Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electronics & Communication Engineering, aligning with Naval requirements. After completing the course, a B. Tech Degree will be conferred by Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU). Cadet distribution between the Executive and Technical Branches (Engineering and electrical) will adhere to existing policy guidelines.

(b) The Indian Navy will cover the entire training cost, encompassing books, reading materials, clothing and messing for the cadets.

Indian Navy B. Tech Call Letter will be issued once the SSB Dates are announced by the Indian Navy. All the required details related to SSB will be mentioned in the Indian Navy SSB Call Letter 2025. The final result or merit list announcement for the Indian Navy's (10+2) B. Tech Cadet Entry Scheme 2025 will be based on the SSB marks. Candidates deemed medically fit will be appointed pending police verification, character verification and subject to entry vacancies' availability. 

Indian Navy (10+2) B. Tech Cadet Entry 2025 Salary

Throughout their training, cadets will receive a stipend. Upon graduation, they will be commissioned as Sub Lieutenants, receiving a salary in the 7th Pay Matrix Level 10, ranging from 56,100/- to 1,77,500/-.
