IB JIO Result 2023 was declared by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) for the Junior Intelligence Officer Grade-II/Technical (JIO-II/Tech) Examination 2023 (TIER-I) on 9 October 2023. Shortlisted candidates will be eligible to appear in the Skill Test. Intelligence Bureau published the IB JIO Notification 2023 for the recruitment of 797 Junior Intelligence Officer Grade-II/Technical i.e. JIO-II/Tech in the Intelligence Bureau, (Ministry of Home Affairs), Government of India on its official website.

I. Possession of a Diploma in Engineering in one of the following fields: Electronics, Electronics & Telecommunication, Electronics & Communication, Electrical & Electronics, Information Technology, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering from a recognized Government University/Institute. Or

II. Holding a Bachelor’s Degree in Science with a focus on Electronics, Computer Science, Physics, or Mathematics from a recognized Government University/Institute. Or

III. Having a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Applications from a recognized Government University/Institute.

IB Junior Intelligence Officer 2023 online applications were accepted through the official website of the Intelligence Bureau. To apply for Intelligence Bureau JIO Recruitment 2023, follow these steps:

Step 1: Go to the official IB website at www.ncs.gov.in or www.mha.gov.in.

Step 2: On the homepage, Click on the link titled "IB JIO Recruitment 2023" located on the main page to access the career section.

Step 3. Follow the on-screen instructions and complete your application by clicking the "Apply Online" button.

Step 4. Fill in the required details such as your name, contact information, educational background, and employment history.

Step 5. Upload a photograph of yourself and a scanned copy of your signature in the specified format.

Step 6. Process your application fee securely through online channels.

Step 7. Review your application before clicking the "Submit" button.

Step 8. After completing the application process, be sure to save a copy of the submitted application for your records.

Application Fees 

Candidates must pay the application fee to complete their application as without a fee the application wouldn’t be considered. Applications without the required application fee will not be processed. Once the fee is paid, it is non-refundable under any circumstances. Candidates can choose to pay the application fee through Debit/Credit Card, Net Banking, UPI, SBI EPAY LITE Payment Gateway, etc. Any banking charges applicable will be the responsibility of the candidate. The fee consists of two components: Examination Fee of Rs. 50/- (Fifty Rupees only) and Recruitment Processing Charges of Rs. 450/-. Here is the table indicating the category-wise application fees:

IB JIO 2023 Selection Process

The Intelligence Bureau JIO recruitment process is comprehensive, comprising an online exam, skill test, and interview. Based on candidates' performance and the normalization of marks in the Tier-I exam, individuals meeting the minimum cut-off will be shortlisted for the Skill Test and Personal Interview, with a ratio of 5 times the number of vacancies. The selection stages for IB JIO Recruitment for IB Junior Intelligence Officer post include:

IB JIO 2023 Salary

The salary structure for IB JIO is classified under Level 4 in the pay matrix, ranging from Rs. 25,500 to Rs. 81,100, accompanied by admissible Central Government allowances. In addition to other government allowances, individuals are entitled to a Special Security Allowance, equivalent to 20% of the basic pay. Moreover, there is a provision for cash compensation in lieu of duty performed on holidays, with a maximum limit of 30 days. This comprehensive compensation package reflects the overall remuneration and benefits offered to IB JIO employees
