As per the selection criteria, the number of candidates called for the interview may be up to five times the total number of vacancies.

However, candidates must have secured at least 33 percent marks (17 out of 50) in the Tier 2 descriptive paper to be considered for the interview stage. The IB ACIO Tier 3 Interview is conducted to evaluate the candidate’s personality, communication ability, awareness, and overall suitability for the post of Assistant Central Intelligence Officer Grade II/Executive. This stage carries 100 marks and contributes significantly to the final selection.
