Women’s National Boxing Championships 2023: Saweety, Jasmine Win Gold

World champion Sweety Boora, Commonwealth Games bronze medalist Jasmine and Olympian Pooja Rani won gold medals in their respective weight categories at the Women's National Boxing Championships 2023.
- Sweety Bora won the gold medal by defeating Lalfakmawii Ralte 5-0 in the final of 81 kg weight category.
- Jasmine won the gold medal in the 60 kg category by defeating Tokyo Olympian Simranjit Kaur by a margin of 4-3.
- Tokyo Olympian Pooja Rani defeated Nandini 5-0 to win the gold medal in the 75 kg category.
7th Women's National Boxing Championship 2023:
- The national championships were held from 22 to 27 December.
- It was organized at GBU Indoor Stadium, Gautam Buddha University, Greater Noida, UP.
- Competitions were held in a total of 12 weight categories, in which more than 300 Indian boxers participated.
