Thierry Delaporte, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the giant tech company Wipro, resigned from his post on 6 April 2024. Following the resignation of Thierry Delaporte from Wipro, the company announced the appointment of Srinivas Pallia as the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of the company with immediate effect.

The board members approved Palliya's name in a meeting called after the resignation of Thierry Delport. The appointment of Srinivas Pallia would be effective from April 7, 2024, for a period of 5 years.
