UP Police launches digital platform 'Trinetra' app 2.0

In March 2024, Uttar Pradesh Police has launched the state-of-the-art digital platform Trinetra App 2.0 to help in the investigation and crackdown on criminals. Trinetra App 2.0 has been designed to help in crime prevention and investigation in the state.

Uttar Pradesh DGP Prashant Kumar along with ADG Law and Order Amitabh Yash launched Trinetra App 2.0 at DGP Headquarters.

AI solutions company Stack Technologies launches:

Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions company Staqu Technologies has launched AI powered Crime GPT Trinetra 2.0. This tool works in collaboration with the UP government and the Special Task Force.

Objective of Trinetra 2.0 launch:

The purpose of this Crime GPT launch is to strengthen security. This will help the UP Police to crackdown on criminals.

Using audio and written inputs to extract databases:

Crime GPT Trinetra 2.0 uses both written and audio input to extract criminal databases. Then it prepares results based on that. If information is to be obtained about a criminal's crime committed in the last two years, a written or audio message query is entered.
By connecting to the database, the programme gets the required programmes quickly. This includes things like criminal gang analysis, voice recognition, facial recognition and many more.

It will be easier to catch criminals with Trinetra 2.0:

Crime is the trinity application of the GPT stack. Its use makes it easy to track criminals based on trace detection, oral signals, audio input and facial recognition.
It is noteworthy that Stack was the first Indian startup, which had earlier created a database of more than 9 Lac criminals in collaboration with UP Police.
The vision of the launch of Crime GPT Trinetra is to strengthen the security structure. Crime GPT plays a good role in taking this forward. Through this, digital criminal databases are prepared.
Helps in identifying the culprit based on audio and written inputs. Trinetra is an extension of our work which has been adopted by UP Police.
