4th World Food India to Be Held in New Delhi in September 2025

The 4th edition of World Food India will be held in New Delhi from 25-28 September 2025. The event, first held in 2017 in New Delhi, showcases India's rich food culture and the investment potential of its food processing sector for both domestic and international investors.

New  Delhi hosted the second World Food India in 2023 and the third edition in 2024.

A curtain raiser event for the forthcoming 4th World Food India 2025 was held in New Delhi on 23 July 2025, which was addressed by Chirag Paswan, Union Minister of Food Processing Industries.

Speaking on the occasion, the minister stated that the 4th edition will be the largest amongst all the World  Food India events held so far. More than 90 countries' participants are expected to take part in the 4th edition, along with more than 2,000 exhibitors and stakeholders from the entire food value chain, from farm to fork.

Organiser of the World Food India 

The World Food India is organised by the Union Ministry of Food Processing Industries, with the India Trade Promotion Organisation being the co-organiser.

The national partners of the 4th edition of World Food India 2025 is the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI). Ernst & Young is the Knowledge Partner for 4th World Food India 2025.

Traditionally, World Food India has State/Union Territory and a foreign country as its partners. The names of the State/Union Territory and the foreign country have not yet been revealed by the central government.

• The theme of World Food India 2025 is Processing for Prosperity.

Aim and Objective of the World Food India 2025

World Food India aims to promote India as a promising global hub for food processing, manufacturing, and cold chain logistics.

It brings together Indian and leading global companies in the food processing and allied sectors on a single platform.

It provides a platform for central and state government policymakers and regulators in the food sector to meet with Indian and leading foreign companies in the food processing sector and discuss potential investment opportunities in the sector.

It provides an opportunity for Indian companies to display their products to potential international buyers and to establish joint ventures and technology transfer agreements with foreign companies.

Along with World Food India, a Great Indian Food Street exhibition is also held, showcasing Indian food products and ingredients to the world.
