PM Narendra Modi Received 'Highest Honour' From 14 Countries

Minister of State for External Affairs V Muraleedharan, while replying to a question in the Rajya Sabha on December 14, 2023, said that since 2014, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been honoured by 14 countries with its highest national award and the United Nations highest environmental award.
Awards given to PM Modi:
'Order of the Nile' Award:
- This is Egypt's highest state honour.
- In June 2023, Egyptian President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi honoured Prime Minister Modi with the 'Order of the Nile' award.
'Companion of the Order of Fiji':
- Prime Minister Modi Narendra was awarded Fiji's highest honour, 'Companion of the Order of Fiji' by Fiji's PM Sitiveni Rabuka in May 2023.
'Grand Companion of the Order of Logohu':
- Governor-General of Papua New Guinea Sir Bob Dade awarded Prime Minister Narendra Modi the Grand Companion of the Order of Logohu (GCL), Papua New Guinea's highest civilian honour, in May 2023.
Order of the Dragon King (2021):
- It is the highest civilian award of Bhutan and is awarded for service to the Kingdom of Bhutan and its common people.
Legion of Merit Award (2020):
- United States Armed Forces Award for exceptionally meritorious conduct, demonstrating outstanding services and achievements.
King Hamad's Order of the Renaissance (2019):
- Bahrain's highest honour.
Order of the Distinguished Rule of Nishan Izzuddin (2019):
- The highest honour in the Maldives awarded to foreign dignitaries.
Order of St. Andrew Award (2019):
- Russia's highest civilian honour
Order of Zayed Award (2019):
- The highest civilian honour of the United Arab Emirates.
Grand Collar Award of the State of Palestine (2018):
- Palestine's highest honour given to foreign dignitaries.
Ghazi Amir Amanullah Khan State Order (2016):
- Afghanistan's highest civilian honour.
Abdul Aziz Al Saud Order (2016):
- It is Saudi Arabia's highest honour awarded to non-Muslim dignitaries.
