The 17th Summer Paralympics for the physically challenged is being held in Paris, France, from 28 August to 8 September 2024.
29-year-old world No.1 Nitesh Kumar defeated the 2020 Tokyo Paralympics silver medalist Daniel Bethell of Great Britain in the final 21-14, 18-21, 23-21 to win the gold medal. This was Daniel Bethell's second consecutive defeat in the Paralympics finals.
Daniel Bethell lost to the Indian Pramod Bhagat in the Tokyo Paralympics.
