India swept both the men's and women's team gold medals at the Commonwealth Table Tennis Championships 2026, beating Malaysia in both finals at Thyagraj Stadium, New Delhi, on 30 July 2026.
India's top-seeded men's team edged eighth-seeded Malaysia 3-2 to retain their title. Manav Thakkar and Manush Shah gave India an early 2-0 lead, Malaysia levelled it 2-2 through Tey Hong Yu and Wong Qi Shen, before Manush Shah sealed the win 3-0 against Javen Choong. The squad included Manav Thakkar, Manush Shah, Sathiyan Gnanasekaran, Harmeet Desai, and Payas Jain, and remained unbeaten through the tournament.
India's second-seeded women's team dominated sixth-seeded Malaysia 3-0, with wins from Swastika Ghosh, Sreeja Akula, and Yashaswini Ghorpade. The squad comprised Syndrela Das, Sreeja Akula, Yashaswini Ghorpade, Sutirtha Mukherjee, and Swastika Ghosh, also going undefeated through the event.
This edition marks the championship's return since 2019 in Cuttack, where India swept all seven golds. Table tennis runs parallel to, but is not part of, the Glasgow Commonwealth Games 2026 sports programme.
