25th Commonwealth Senior Weightlifting Championship: Indian team secured the top position in the medal tally

Introduction - At Veer Savarkar Sports Complex, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, the Indian team secured the top position in the medal tally in the 25th Commonwealth Senior Weightlifting Championship. India remained at the top of the medal tally with 13 medals, including 4 gold, 6 silver, and 3 bronze.

• Indian weightlifters won two medals on the final day, in which Mehak Sharma won the silver medal by lifting a personal best total of 253 kg. In the final of the 110+ kg category, Lovepreet Singh won the bronze medal by lifting 380 kg.
• In this edition of the Commonwealth Weightlifting Championship, more than 300 weightlifters from 31 countries participated.
