The Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Amendment Bill, 2026, was approved by the Union Cabinet on July 24, 2026, and officially introduced in the Lok Sabha on July 27, 2026. The Lok Sabha passed the bill by a voice vote on 29th July, 2026. The legislation now awaits passage in the Rajya Sabha to become law.
