MRIIRS Awarded With 4-Star Rating Out Of Qs 5-Star Rating Award and Honour 6 min read

Manav Rachna International Institute of Research and Studies (MRIIRS) has been awarded an overall QS 4-star rating by the QS World University Rankings for the year 2023 released on 24 December.

  • The QS World University Rankings has awarded MRIIRS a QS 5 star rating in the six most important areas out of a total of seven. It has received QS 5 stars in all subjects except Computer Science and Information Systems. These are:

    • Employment
    • Educational Development
    • Facilities
    • Social Responsibility
    • Inclusiveness & 
    • Computer Science and Information Systems

QS Star Rating Awards at EPSI Conference:

  • The QS Star Rating Award was given at the Education Promotion Society for India (EPSI) conference held in Bangalore.
  • Dr. Prashant Bhalla, President, MRIIRS, received the QS Star Rating Award at the EPSI Conference on ‘Making Indian Higher Education Globally Competitive’ in Bangalore.
  • As a long-term member of EPSI, Prashant Bhalla has served as its Treasurer. For Prashant Bhalla's unique contribution to the education industry, he was given the honourable title of Senior Vice President of the Society.

QS Stars TM Rating System:

  • It evaluates universities across a wide range of key performance indicators against pre-established international standards.
  • Covers a wider range of criteria than any world ranking. The QS ranking is seen as one of the three best university rankings in the world.
  • The overall 4-star rating shows that MRIIRS has already achieved international recognition and standards. It attracts international students and faculty members by providing an environment for advanced learning and development.

  • It is an annual publication of university rankings that incorporates global overall and subject rankings.

  1. Massachusetts Institute of Technology (US) (top university for the 11th consecutive year)
  2. University of Cambridge (England)
  3. Stanford University (California, USA)

Top Indian institutions in QS World University Rankings 2023:

  1. Indian Institute of Science (IISc) - 155 (top most among Indian Universities) 
  2. IIT Bombay- 172 
  3. IIT Delhi - 174 
  • The total number of Indian institutions in the top one thousand globally has increased from 22 to 27.

Subject-Based QS World University Rankings:

  • QS is the world's leading provider of services, analytics and insights for the global higher education sector.
  • The QS World University Rankings are compiled subject-wise annually. This helps students identify leading universities in a particular subject.
  • Three new subjects have been included in the ranking for the year 2023: data science, marketing and art history.
