About 100 women artists playing Indian musical instruments will perform at the parade. This will showcase India's cultural diversity.

  • For the first time, a contingent of women from the Indian Army, Indian Navy and Indian Air Force will march together at the parade. This is called the tri-services contingent.
  • A contingent of women police officers and security forces will also march. This will highlight women's increasing role in these fields.
  • There will be colorful tableaux or parade floats from different states and ministries. Many will have all-women teams and celebrate women's achievements.
  • So this year's parade has a strong focus on women's empowerment and contribution to India's progress. The best representations of women will be seen in this year’s Republic Day Parade and many will be honored.
