Isha Foundation's 242-foot Adi Shiva Statue Approved Near Jewar Airport

The Civil Aviation Ministry has given in-principle approval to install the statue of Adiyogi Shiva near the Noida International Airport being built in Jewar, western Uttar Pradesh. Due to which the way has become clear for the construction of a 242 feet high statue of Adiyogi Shiva here.

By whom will Adiyogi Shiva be established?

A 242 feet high statue will be installed here by Isha Foundation. Along with this, an ashram will also be built here. Many other facilities including naturopathy will be available in it.
A 112 feet tall statue of Yogi Adi Shiva has been installed in the Isha Yoga complex in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu.
Isha Foundation is active in the field of yoga, environmental protection and social work. Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev, founder of Isha Foundation, has greatly influenced the youth with his various spiritual knowledge and his views on Yoga.
This foundation wants to install the statue of Adiyogi Shiva near Noida Airport. The foundation had approached the government for this. The Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh has already given his consent for this.

Consent of Civil Aviation Ministry:

Due to its proximity to the airport, it was necessary to obtain permission from the Civil Aviation Ministry. Now the ministry has given in-principle consent. This has cleared the way for the installation of the statue here.

Demand for 200 acres of land by the Foundation:

Isha Foundation has demanded 200 acres of land to install the 242 feet high statue of Adi Yogi Shiva. Along with the statue, an ashram and many other facilities will be developed.
Yamuna Authority has planned to give land near Amarpur Palaka village. This will be Noida Sector-23D.
Yamuna Authority officials believe that the further process will be started once the organization applies for the land.

The spiritual identity of the area will increase:

This will promote yoga, environmental protection and spirituality along with industrial activities here.
This area of Yamuna Authority will create a distinct identity for spirituality.
A 106 feet tall statue of Lord Shri Krishna has been installed in the authority area Gaur Yamuna City. Whereas the proposed heritage corridor will also have a spiritual glimpse.
Apart from this, there is a statue of Lord Shiva installed in Noida Film City Sector-16A.
Lord Hanuman statue is in Noida Sector-49.
A 61 feet high statue of Lord Shiva is installed in Safipur Moksh Dham, Greater Noida.

A 369 feet high statue of Shiva has been constructed in Nathwada, Rajasthan.
This Shiva statue built at Nathdwara in Rajsamand district in Rajasthan has been named 'Vishwas Swaroopam'.
