QS World University Rankings 2027: India's 3 IITs Enter Global Top 200

On June 18, 2026, the QS World University Rankings 2027 were released by QS (Quacquarelli Symonds), headquartered in London, United Kingdom. This is one of the world's most respected university ranking systems. Only three Indian institutions, IIT Delhi, IIT Bombay, and IIT Madras, secured spots among the world's top 200 universities. Indian university IIT Delhi is ranked as India's top-ranked university at 118th globally, up five places from last year.
