ISSF World Cup

The ISSF World, organised by ISSF, is an annual sporting event.

Every year, four World Cups are organised, and in a Summer Olympic year, three World Cups are organised.

The world’s top male and female shooters participate in these World Cups and earn valuable points. The top eight shooters with the maximum points play in the World Cup finals, along with wild card entries.

Since 2017, the World Cup Final has been held every alternate year.

ISSF organises the World Cup for rifle and pistol events, and a separate World Cup for Shotgun events, every year.

The first ISSF World Cup was organised in 1986 at Mexico City in Mexico, and since 1988, season-ending World Cup finals have been organised.
