India concluded its campaign at the ISSF World Cup 2023, held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, with one gold and one silver medal.
India's Nischal won a silver medal in the Women's 50m Rifle 3 Positions at the ISSF World Cup 2023 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil on 18 September 2023.

Nischal won the silver medal:
- Nischal, a 19-year-old Indian shooter, won a silver medal on the final day of the ISSF World Cup, bringing India's medal count to two.
Gold medal to Elavenil Valarivan:
- Earlier, Elavenil Valarivan had won the gold medal in the women's 10-metre air rifle event on 16 September 2023.
- Velarivan defeated Oceane Muller of France by scoring 252.2 in the final.
- It is Velarivan's second individual World Cup medal.
16 Indian shooters participated:
- 16 Indian shooters participated in the ISSF World Cup held in Rio.
- Nischal, who made her senior ISSF World Cup debut in Baku earlier this year, scored 458.0 in kneeling, prone and standing positions in the final in Rio, finishing behind Norway's Janet Hague Duestad, who won the gold medal with a score of 461.5.
- Janet Hague Duestad is a three-time world champion and Olympian. At the same time, Denmark's Stefanie Grundsø won the bronze medal in Rio with 447.6 points.
