Indian players Hardik Singh and Netherlands' Xan de Waard have been elected 2023 FIH Players of the Year. The International Hockey Federation (FIH) has announced its annual awards on 19 December 2023.

Player of the Year (Men): Hardik Singh (India)
Player of the Year (Women): Xan de Waard (Netherlands)
Goalkeeper of the Year (Men): Pirmin Black (Dutch)
Goalkeeper of the Year (Women): Savita (India)
Rising Stars (Men): Gaspard Xavier (FRA)
Rising Stars (Women): Teresa Lima (ESP)
Coach of the Year (Men): Andre Henning, Germany (Head Coach of the German Men's Team)
Coach of the Year (Women): Alison Annan, Australia (Chief Women's Team Head Coach)
Umpire of the Year (Male): Ben Göntgen (Germany)
Umpire of the Year (Women): Ayana McLean (Trinidad and Tobago)
FIH Men's Player of the Year, Hardik Singh:
Hardik Singh is a key pillar of the Indian hockey team as well as being the vice-captain of it. Hardik Singh has performed in a total of 114 international matches. Hardik played a key role in India's bronze medal win at the 2020 Olympics.
FIH Player of the Year 2023 is Hardik's second major award. Hardik was earlier honoured with the Hockey India Balbir Singh Senior Award for Player of the Year 2022.
With his stellar performances in the midfield, he has become one of the important members of the Indian team in recent years.
FIH Women's Goalkeeper of the Year, Savita:
Savita is currently the captain of the Indian women's team. Savita has received the FIH Women's Goalkeeper of the Year Award for the third consecutive year.
Earlier, Savita received the FIH Women's Goalkeeper of the Year Award in 2021 and 2022.
