The Staff Selection Commission is set to administer the SSC MTS 2024 examination to enlist candidates for a multitude of roles including Havaldar, Safaiwala, Chowkidar, Junior Gestetner Operator, Peon, Mali, among others. The Staff Selection Commission employs a two-stage selection procedure. The first stage involves the SSC MTS Paper I, which is a Written Examination conducted in an objective type Computer-Based Test format. Following this, candidates applying for the position of Havaldar undergo a Physical Efficiency Test (PET) or Physical Standard Test (PST) as the second stage of selection.

SSC MTS Exam Application Process 2024

The SSC MTS 2024 Application Window is scheduled to open in May 2024, allowing interested and eligible candidates to apply for the SSC MTS once the application process commences. Here's a step-by-step guide to facilitate the registration procedure:

1. Visit the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) website.
2. New applicants are required to register themselves using a valid Email ID and a working phone number.
3. Upon registration, a link will be sent to your registered Email ID.
4. Click on the link provided and accurately fill in all the necessary details in the application form.
5. Upload all the requisite documents, photographs, and signatures as per the specified requirements.
6. Before signing the declaration, ensure to review all your details carefully and verify them twice.
7. Proceed to the payment page to submit the required application fee through challan or online modes such as net banking, debit, or credit card.
8. After your submission is successful, a confirmation page will be displayed on your screen.
9. You will receive confirmation of your application on your registered Email ID and Mobile. For added security, it is advisable to directly print the confirmation page for future reference.

SSC MTS Exam Pattern 2024 

If you are one of those who are going to appear in the SSC MTS Exam 2024 then you should check the examination first to be familiar with the same. In this section you can check the SSC MTS 2024 Exam Pattern carefully to start your preparation:-

• The SSC MTS Paper-I comprises four sections: Mathematical Ability, Reasoning Ability, General Awareness, and English Language & Comprehension.
• For general candidates, the duration of the SSC MTS Exam is 90 minutes, with both sessions lasting 45 minutes each. However, for PwD candidates, the duration is extended to 120 minutes, divided into two sessions of 60 minutes each.
• The exam mode is Computer-Based, divided into two sessions: Session-I and Session-II.
• The computer-based exam consists of objective-type, multiple-choice questions.
• The medium of examination includes Hindi and English, along with 13 local languages.
• In Session I, there will be no negative marking. However, in Session-II, there will be a negative marking of one mark for each incorrect answer.
• The SSC MTS Paper 1 is divided into two sessions, each with its own subjects and marking scheme.
