The Jharkhand General Graduate Level Combined Competitive Examination (JGGLCCE) is set to take place on 28 January and 4 February 2024. JSSC CGL Exam Schedule 2023

JSSC CGL Exam Pattern 2023

Before appearing for the JSSC CGL Exam, candidates should be familiar with the structure of the JSSC CGLE 2023. The JSSC CGL Exam 2023 consists of three Papers which will be conducted in three different shifts. Here we are going to detail the JSSC CGL Exam Pattern for all three papers.

Paper 1

Paper 1 includes a language section covering both Hindi Language and English Language in the JSSC CGL examination. This examination features objective 120 multiple-choice type questions focusing on Unseen Passage and Grammar. Each correct answer is awarded 03 marks and 1 mark will be deducted for wrong answers. While Paper 1 is qualifying in nature, candidates must secure a minimum of 30% marks to qualify for this section.

Paper 2 

The Paper 2 exam of the JSSC comprises a regional or selected language paper. This examination features 100 objective multiple-choice type questions. Each correct answer is awarded 3 marks, and for every incorrect response, 1 mark will be deducted. The JSSC CGL Paper 2 will be available in both Hindi and English.

Paper 3 

Paper 3 encompasses the subject of General Knowledge in the JSSC examination. All the questions in this section are of the objective multiple-choice type. Each question holds a weightage of 3 marks. A negative marking system is applied, deducting one mark for every incorrect response. The questions in Paper 3 will be framed in both Hindi and English languages.
