What is the MP PAT Exam 2026?

The MP PAT Exam 2026 (Madhya Pradesh Pre-Agriculture Test) is a state-level entrance exam conducted by the Madhya Pradesh Employees Selection Board (MPESB). It is held for admission into various undergraduate agriculture and allied courses offered by colleges in Madhya Pradesh.

MP PAT Eligibility Criteria 2026

Nationality

To apply for the MP PAT 2026, candidates must be Indian citizens. The candidate will be eligible if they meet any one of the following:

• Studied in Madhya Pradesh for at least 3 years in the last 5 years
• Is a domicile of Madhya Pradesh
• Has a parent who is an MP Government / Central Government employee posted in MP

Age Limit 

There is no minimum or maximum age limit to appear in the MP PAT Exam 2026.

Educational Qualification

Note:- Candidates who are appearing in the 10+2 (Class 12) examination conducted by the Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education or an equivalent exam in the current year are also eligible to apply for the entrance examination. However, their admission to the above courses will be considered valid only if they successfully pass the qualifying 10+2 (Class 12) or equivalent examination and produce the mark sheet at the time of admission. Applicants who do not pass the qualifying examination in the current year but clear it later in any subsequent attempt will not be eligible for admission, even if they have secured a position in the PAT merit list.

Physical Requirements

Candidates applying for the B.Sc. (Hons) Forestry course must meet the prescribed physical standards before admission:

• Minimum Height: 163 cm
• Chest Measurement: 84 cm (fully expanded)
• Chest Expansion: At least 5 cm

Note: The minimum height requirement is relaxed to 152.5 cm for candidates belonging to Gorkhas, Nepalis, Garhwalis, Kumaonis, and residents of Manipur, Tripura, Sikkim, NEFA, Ladakh, and Bhutan. 

Preference:
Candidates holding a “B” or “C” certificate of NCC will be given preference.

MP PAT Application Process

MP PAT Application Window was open from 24 March to 7 April 2026 for those who want to appear in the MP PAT 2026 Exam. Candidates can follow the steps below to complete their online application process:- 

1. Go to the official website of the MPESB.
2. Create an account using a valid email address and mobile number.
3. Enter all the required personal and educational details carefully in the application form.
4. Upload scanned copies of the necessary documents in the prescribed format and size.
5. Pay the application fee using the available online payment options.
6. Check all the entered details, submit the form, and save a copy for future use.

Application Fees 

MP PAT 2026 Application Form 2026 must be filled out within the stipulated time frame by the candidates. To complete the application process, candidates are required to pay the application fees according to their categories. Note:- Candidates who fill out the application form through a kiosk will be required to pay an MP Online portal fee of ₹60/-. However, if a registered citizen user logs in and completes the form independently, the portal fee will be ₹20/-. 

MP PAT Exam Pattern

MP PAT Exam 2026 is scheduled to be conducted from 8 May 2026. Candidates who are going to appear in the MP PAT Exam 2026 should know the complete structure of the exam to prepare well for it. The exam is conducted in online mode (Computer-Based Test) and includes subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics, depending on the course chosen by the candidate.

MP PAT Exam Centres 2026

MP PAT Exam 2026 will be conducted at various centres in Madhya Pradesh. Applicants must select four preferred exam cities while filling out the application form. The exam centre will be allotted randomly based on the availability of seats in the cities chosen by the candidate.

However, if seats are not available in the preferred cities, the board may assign an alternative exam city. The board also reserves the right to add, remove, or modify exam cities/centres, and its decision in this regard will be final and binding. No requests for change in the allotted exam centre will be accepted.

MP PAT 2026 Admit Card

The Madhya Pradesh Employees Selection Board (MPESB), Bhopal, will release the MP PAT Admit Card 2026 a few days before the exam. Candidates must carry their admit card to the exam centre, as it is mandatory for entry into the examination hall. To download the MP PAT admit card 2026, candidates are required to follow the steps provided below:-

MP PAT Exam Answer Key 2026 will be uploaded by the MPESB on its official website once the exam is successfully conducted by the board. MP PAT Result 2026 

MP PAT Result 2026 will be declared after the successful completion of the exam and candidates can download it by visiting the official website of the MPESB. Follow the steps to download your MP PAT Exam Result 2026:-

Step 2: Go to the “Results” section under “For Candidates”.

Step 3: Click on the link for MP PAT Result 2026.

Step 6: Take a printout and keep 2–3 copies for future reference.

MP PAT 2026 Exam Cut-off 

The MP PAT Cut-Off 2026 will be released after the declaration of the results. It represents the minimum marks required for candidates to secure admission in participating institutes across Madhya Pradesh.

All MP PAT participating colleges will offer admission based on the cut-off marks announced by the authorities. Candidates should note that cut-off marks are different from qualifying marks.

The cut-off will be released separately for different courses. It is determined based on several factors, such as:

1. Marks obtained by candidates in the exam
2. Total number of available seats
3. Reservation policies
4. Overall exam difficulty level
