The IBPS AFO Eligibility Criteria include conditions related to nationality, age limit, educational qualifications, and other essential requirements. Candidate must fulfill one of the following nationality criteria:
(i) A citizen of India
(ii) A subject of Nepal
(iii) A subject of Bhutan
(iv) A Tibetan refugee who arrived in India before 1 January 1962 with the intent of settling permanently
(v) A person of Indian origin who migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, or Vietnam with the intention of permanent settlement in India.
Note: However, individuals falling under categories (ii), (iii), (iv), and (v) must possess a Government of India-issued certificate of eligibility.
Candidates should be between 20 and 30 years of age, meaning they must have been born between 02 August 1995 and 01 August 2005 (both dates inclusive). Upper Age relaxation fwill be applicable for the reserved categories as per government rules.

IBPS AFO Application Form 2026 will be released online on the official IBPS website for a limited application period. Below is the step-by-step process to apply for IBPS AFO Recruitment 2026:
Step 1: Open the official website of IBPS.
Step 2: Click on the “New Registration” option available in the top-right corner of the homepage.
Step 3: Start the registration by entering basic details such as name, contact number, email ID, address, and other required information, then click on “Save and Next.”
Step 4: Upload your passport-sized photograph and signature in the prescribed format. The photograph should be 4.5 cm × 3.5 cm with a file size of 20 KB to 50 KB, while the signature should be between 10 KB and 20 KB.
Step 5: Fill in your educational and professional qualification details and proceed by clicking on “Save and Next.”
Step 6: Review the application form carefully, as changes may not be allowed after this stage, then move to the next step.
Step 7: Complete the payment of the application fee using online modes such as debit card, credit card, or net banking.
Step 8: Finally, click on “Final Submit” to complete the application process. After successful submission, registration details will be sent to your registered email ID and mobile number for future login.
To complete the application process, candidates need to pay the prescribed application fee within the specified dates through online mode only.
