Bihar BSSC Inter Level Recruitment 2023 Notification Out for 12199 Posts

The Bihar Staff Selection Commission (BSSC) has officially released the notification for the 2nd Inter Level Examination 2023 on 19 September 2023. Candidates who have completed their 10+2 (Inter Level) education and wish to work in the public sector have been invited by BSSC. There are a total of 12199 vacancies for various positions such as Clerk, Stenographer, Data Entry Operator, and others. 

According to the Bihar SSC Notification 2023 PDF, the online registration for the application form starts on 27 September 2023. Candidates may apply till 11 December 2023, and the application fee must be paid by 9 November 2023. 

The BSSC Inter-Level Examination will be conducted to fill vacancies for the Group C posts in various state government departments. These include clerical, stenographer, and other intermediate-level posts. BSSC Inter-Level Vacancy 2023

The BSSC Inter Level Examination 2023 is being conducted to fill 12199 vacancies in various departments under the Government of Bihar. The exact number of vacancies for each category is given in the table below:

BSSC Inter-Level Recruitment Eligibility Criteria 2023

Candidates must meet the following criteria to be eligible for the BSSC Inter-Level Examination 2023.

(a) Nationality

Candidates must be citizens of India to be eligible for these posts.

(b) Age Limit

The BSSC Inter-level examination 2023 requires a minimum age of 18. The upper age limit for the candidates belonging to different categories is as follows:

• Male candidates of General Category – 37 years
• Female candidates of General Category – 40 years
• Male & Female Candidates of BC/EBC – 40 years
• Male and Female Candidates of SC/ST – 42 years

(c) Educational Qualification

Candidates must have passed the 12th class or equivalent examination from a recognised university or board. However, for some posts in various departments, candidates must have Computer Typing knowledge along with intermediate (12th class). 

Note: For the post of Filariasis Inspector in the Health Department, the candidate must have passed intermediate (10+2) in science subject. For complete details, refer to the official notification PDF.

Apply Online for BSSC Inter-Level Recruitment 2023

Candidates must go to the BSSC's official website to apply online. All eligible candidates willing to work in various departments of the Bihar Government should apply online through the direct link provided above. The application process for the BSSC Inter-Level Exam 2023 is outlined below.

• Visit the Bihar State Selection Commission's official website.
• Navigate to the Notifications tab.
• Click on the “Link to Fill Up the BSSC 2nd Inter Level Exam” link given on the Commission’s notice board.
• Enter your personal information carefully, including your name, address, phone number, e-mail address, father's name, etc.
• Upload the necessary documents, such as the category and income certificates.
• When you click submit, you will be redirected to the payment page. Pay the exam registration fee.
• The Registration ID and Password will be sent to your email address and mobile phone number (use these credentials later for logging in to the portal).
• Save the finally submitted application form in PDF format and take a printout for future reference.

Bihar SSC Inter-Level Recruitment 2023: Selection Process

Candidates preparing for the BSSC Inter-Level Recruitment Exam must be aware of the selection process if they want to secure a post in this examination. The BSSC Inter Level Exam 2023 will be conducted in three stages: preliminary and mains written examination, followed by a document verification process. 

Candidates must know the Selection Process while applying for this recruitment exam to prepare well.  Brief information of all the stages of recruitment is as follows:

Stage I (Preliminary Examination): The preliminary examination is a multiple-choice objective type examination. The examination consists of only one paper comprising a) General studies, b) General Science and Mathematics) Mental Ability subjects.

Stage II (Main Examination): The commission has not yet revealed the exam pattern of the Main examination. Based on the Previous Year’s pattern, the main test will consist of two papers. The first is the Hindi language paper, while the second has a syllabus comparable to the Preliminary Exams. The language paper is worth 400 marks, while the second paper is worth 600 marks.

Each paper will be of 2 hours and 15 minutes duration. (This section will be updated as soon as the commission notifies it).

Stage III (Document Verification): The Document Verification stage is the final level of the Selection Process. Candidates who pass both the preliminary and main exams will be called by the commission for document verification. Candidates unable to present the relevant documents on the specified date and location will be declared disqualified.

BSSC Inter-Level Preliminary Exam Pattern 2023

The first stage of the BSSC Inter-Level Preliminary exam is a single paper divided into three subjects, explained in the table below. Each subject is worth 200 marks, and the exam duration is 2 hours 15 minutes (135 minutes).

• The type of questions will be objective and multiple choice.
• Four marks will be awarded for every correct answer, and one mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
• The medium of language in prelims will be Hindi and English.

BSSC Inter-Level Prelims Syllabus 2023

BSSC Inter-Level Admit Card 2023

The Admit Card is one of the important documents that contain information such as the candidate's name, exam date, registration number, exam centre details etc. Candidates must bring their admit cards with them to the examination centres on the day of the exam. The BSSC Inter Level Exam Admit Card 2023 has not yet been announced; it will be updated here once it is uploaded on the official website.

The Admit Card 2023 for each stage will be released separately by BSSC on its official website. Candidates who have completed the previous stages successfully  will be eligible to download their next-stage admit card. 

Follow the steps mentioned below to download your admit card:

Step 1: Visit the official website of the BSSC.

Step 2: Go to the Commission's official notice board (or directly type this URL in your browser @ bssc.bihar.gov.in/NoticeBoard.htm)

Step 3: Go to the link to download the Inter Level Prelims Admit Card.

Step 4: Enter your registration number or roll number.

Step 5: Enter your date of birth, and your admit card will be accessible to download.

Step 6: Download and print a copy of the admit card for future use.

Note: Candidates must verify the details printed on the admit card to avoid any future problems, after downloading it.

BSSC Inter-Level Answer Key 2023

Once the exams (Prelims or Mains) are over, the Bihar Staff Selection Commission will release the BSSC Inter-Level Answer Key 2023. The Answer Key helps the candidates check their scores to know how they are progressing in the selection process.  It will be available for download from the official website only. Candidates can obtain the answer key by following the processes outlined below:

• Visit the BSSC official website at “bssc.bih.nic.in”.
• At the homepage, look for the BSSC Inter Level Answer Key 2023 in the noticeboard (suchna-patt) section and click on it.
• The answer key PDF will be displayed on your screen.
• Verify the answers you have marked as per your question paper. 
• You can download and print the BSSC Inter Level Answer Key 2023. 

BSSC Inter-Level Result 2023

After counselling, the candidates will be finally selected for that stage and the result will be announced on the commission's website. Candidates must follow the following steps carefully to check their results:

• Navigate to the BSSC’s official website.
• Click on the “Important Notice Regarding Counselling Status of 2nd Inter Level Combined Competitive Exam 2023” given under the notice board section.
• You will be redirected to a site where you must enter your login information.
• The result will be displayed on the screen.
• Save it and take a printout of it for future reference.

BSSC Inter-Level Salary 2023

The salary for inter-level posts varies according to the departments and posts concerned. For almost all departments, the salary will be under Pay Level 2 except for the few departments having Pay Levels 3 and 4. Kindly refer to the official notification for complete pay level details.
