(b) Age Limit
The BSSC Inter-level examination 2023 requires a minimum age of 18. The upper age limit for the candidates belonging to different categories is as follows:
Candidates must have passed the 12th class or equivalent examination from a recognised university or board. However, for some posts in various departments, candidates must have Computer Typing knowledge along with intermediate (12th class).
Note: For the post of Filariasis Inspector in the Health Department, the candidate must have passed intermediate (10+2) in science subject. For complete details, refer to the official notification PDF.

Candidates preparing for the BSSC Inter-Level Recruitment Exam must be aware of the selection process if they want to secure a post in this examination. The BSSC Inter Level Exam 2023 will be conducted in three stages: preliminary and mains written examination, followed by a document verification process.
Candidates must know the Selection Process while applying for this recruitment exam to prepare well. Brief information of all the stages of recruitment is as follows:
Stage I (Preliminary Examination): The preliminary examination is a multiple-choice objective type examination. The examination consists of only one paper comprising a) General studies, b) General Science and Mathematics) Mental Ability subjects.
Stage II (Main Examination): The commission has not yet revealed the exam pattern of the Main examination. Based on the Previous Year’s pattern, the main test will consist of two papers. The first is the Hindi language paper, while the second has a syllabus comparable to the Preliminary Exams. The language paper is worth 400 marks, while the second paper is worth 600 marks.
Each paper will be of 2 hours and 15 minutes duration. (This section will be updated as soon as the commission notifies it).
Stage III (Document Verification): The Document Verification stage is the final level of the Selection Process. Candidates who pass both the preliminary and main exams will be called by the commission for document verification. Candidates unable to present the relevant documents on the specified date and location will be declared disqualified.
The first stage of the BSSC Inter-Level Preliminary exam is a single paper divided into three subjects, explained in the table below. Each subject is worth 200 marks, and the exam duration is 2 hours 15 minutes (135 minutes).

The Admit Card is one of the important documents that contain information such as the candidate's name, exam date, registration number, exam centre details etc. Candidates must bring their admit cards with them to the examination centres on the day of the exam. The BSSC Inter Level Exam Admit Card 2023 has not yet been announced; it will be updated here once it is uploaded on the official website.

Step 5: Enter your date of birth, and your admit card will be accessible to download.

Once the exams (Prelims or Mains) are over, the Bihar Staff Selection Commission will release the BSSC Inter-Level Answer Key 2023. The Answer Key helps the candidates check their scores to know how they are progressing in the selection process. It will be available for download from the official website only. The salary for inter-level posts varies according to the departments and posts concerned. For almost all departments, the salary will be under Pay Level 2 except for the few departments having Pay Levels 3 and 4. Kindly refer to the official notification for complete pay level details.
