Shruti Vora: First Indian To Win 3-Star Grand Prix Equestrian Event

Shruti Vora became the first Indian ever to win a three star Grand Prix event in equestrian. 53 year old Shruti Vora from Kolkata won the CDI-3 event in FEI Dressage World Cup held in Lipica, Slovenia on 7 June 2024.
Shruti Vora riding her horse Magnanimous scored 67.761 points to finish ahead of Moldova’s Tatiana Antonenco and Juliane Jerich of Austria.
Shruti has represented India at the Dressage World Championships (2022) and the 2010 Guanzhou (China) Asian Games and the 2014 Asian Games held in Incheon, South Korea .
Likith & Desinghu wins bronze at Singapore Swimming Championship
Likith SP and Dhinidhi Desinghu of India won a bronze medal each in the 2024 Singapore National Swimming Championship.
Likith SP claimed bronze in men’s 100 metre breaststroke while Dhinidhi Desinghu had to settle for a bronze medal in the women’s 200-metre freestyle event.
The Singapore National Swimming Championship is seen as the last opportunity for swimmers to qualify for the 2024 Summer Paris Olympics ahead.
17th UEFA European Football Championships Start in Germany
The 17th edition of the UEFA European Football Championships or the Euro Cup started in Germany on 15 June 2024. Germany is the host of the 17th edition of the Euro Cup which will be held across Germany from 15 June to 15 July 2024.
Italy are the defending champions having beaten England in the 16th Euro Cup,co hosted by eleven UEFA member countries.
