India National Cyber Security Exercise 2023 concludes in New Delhi

India National Cyber Security Exercise (NCX) 2023 was organized at the prestigious SCOPE Convention Center in New Delhi. India National Cyber Security Exercise was conducted from 9 October to 20 October 2023.

Organization of Practice:

The exercise was jointly organized by the National Security Council Secretariat (NSCS) and the National Defense University. This is the second edition of the National Cyber Security Exercise.

Opening of Exercise:

The exercise was inaugurated by Ajay Kumar Sood, Principal Scientific Advisor to the Government of India.
The event provided a unified platform for more than 300 participants representing a diverse group of government agencies, public organizations, and the private sector committed to securing information infrastructure.

Main objectives of organizing NCX:

India (NCX) The main objective of training senior management and technical personnel of government and information sector organizations.

The exercise will help increase understanding of cyber threats, assess preparedness and develop skills for cyber crisis management and collaboration.

Red on Blue Live Fire Cyber Exercise:

India NCX 2023 organized six days of intensive training for the participants and five days of Red on Blue Live Fire cyber exercise in which the participants pitted their cyber skills against a designated opponent.
The exercise also had a strategic track for leadership level discussions on cyber threat scenario, incident response, crisis management to deal with real global cyber challenges.

India NCX CISO Conclave:

Apart from the main exercise, India NCX 2023 also organized the prestigious India NCX Chief Security Officers Conclave (India NCX CISO Conclave).
More than 200 Chief Information Security Officers (CISOs) from government, public organizations and the private sector participated.
