The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) released the notification for the Civil Service Exam (CSE) 2024 on its official website on 14 February 2024. Both male and female candidates can apply for the UPSC IAS Exam 2024 online through the official online application portal of the commission, i.e. upsconline.nic.in. Registration begins on 14 February and the last date to apply is 05 March 2024.
However, the application form can be corrected between March 6 and March 12, 2024. The applicant must first register with the One Time Registration (OTR) platform, which is available on the Commission's website, before filling out the online examination application. UPSC has announced a total of 1056 vacancies for the “All India Service” and “Central Service” which will include the following Services:
The above-mentioned vacancies include 40 vacancies for Persons with Benchmark Disability Categories, which include 06 vacancies for candidates with blindness and low vision, 12 vacancies for deaf and hard of hearing, 09 vacancies for locomotor disability, including leprosy cured, acid attack victims, dwarfism, cerebral palsy, and muscular dystrophy, and 13 vacancies for multiple disabilities from amongst persons under clauses to include deaf-blindness.
Before filling out the online examination application, the applicant must first register at the Commission's One Time Registration (OTR) platform, which can be found on the website. Candidates must complete OTR once; however, if they have already registered, they can skip this step. The notice states that this can be done at any time of year; if the candidate has already registered, he or she can proceed to fill out the online application for the exam.

Step 2 - Click on the “Exam Notification: Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination, 2024” link provided under 'What’s New'.
Step 3: After clicking on the apply online link you will be redirected to upsconline.nic.in
Step 4: Click on the “One-time registration (OTR) for examinations of UPSC and online application” link to complete the OTR for the exam.
Step 5: After successful registration, log in with your valid credentials.
Step 6: After login, click on the application form and fill out all the details.
Step 7: Upload any necessary documents in the prescribed format.
Step 8: Pay the online application exam fee.
Step 9: Submit the application form after carefully verifying all details and take a print out of the final application form.
