UKPSC PCS Eligibility Criteria 2024

The eligibility criteria generally encompass nationality, educational qualifications, physical measurements, and age limits. Below is a comprehensive outline of the eligibility criteria for UKPSC PCS 2024:

Nationality

For direct recruitment to any post in the Service, candidates must fulfill the following criteria:

a) They must be a citizen of India.

b) They may be a Tibetan refugee who arrived in India before January 1, 1962, to permanently settle in India.

c) They may be a person of Indian origin who migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, or East African countries such as Kenya, Uganda, or the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar) intending to settle in India permanently.

However, candidates falling under categories (b) and (c) above must possess a certificate of eligibility issued by the State Government in their favor.

Age Limit & Relaxation

The eligibility criteria for Uttarakhand Civil Services posts stipulate that candidates must be between 21 years and 42 years of age. However, certain special categories are eligible for age relaxation. Candidates are encouraged to review the relaxation age applicable to their category before applying for these posts.
