Railway Protection Force (RPF) will host the 67th All India Police Duty Meet (AIPDM) in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. It will last from February 12th to 16th, 2024. 

  • The chief guest of the opening ceremony on February 12th will be Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw, Union Minister of Railways, Communications and Electronics & Information Technology. Whereas Shri Yogi Adityanath, Chief Minister, Uttar Pradesh, will be Chief Guest on the Closing Ceremony on February 16th 

67th All India Police Duty Meet (AIPDM) 

  • The RPF was entrusted with organizing the event by the Central Coordinating Committee of AIPDM. 
  • This event aims to promote excellence and collaboration among police officers. In turn, it enhances scientific detection and investigation of crimes in order to strengthen internal security.
  • The 67th All India Police Duty Meet also witnesses various law enforcement professionals coming together to learn and strengthen their collective pursuit of investigative excellence. 
  • Participants would gain from each other's experiences which would result in greater efficiency and improvement in the professional performance standards of the entire force. 
  • The Director General of the Railway Protection Force, Shri Manoj Yadava, also launched the dedicated Mobile application and website created by the Tech Group of RPF for the 67th All India Police Duty Meet.
  • Developed indigenously, these digital platforms are designed to provide real-time updates, streamline communication and facial-timeless participation for officers and officials attending the prestigious event with highlights like Autobot-based multilingual chat support. 
  • The app and website will serve as valuable tools, reinforcing the commitment to advancing the use of technology to enhance participants' overall experience and assist law enforcement personnel in their investigative duties during the present Digital Age Cadets. 
  • The platform also offers courses in emerging domains such as Cyber Crime and Disaster Management.
  • The meeting will witness the participation of 29 law enforcement agencies from the centre and states, with 1230 members participating in various events. 
  • The Police Duty Meet includes various competitions, including Scientific Aids to Investigation, Police Photography, Computer Awareness, Special Canine Unit contests, Anti-sabotage checks and Police Videography. It serves as a platform for law enforcement personnel to refine their abilities and exchange best practices.
  • All competitions will be organized at the Jagjivan Ram RPF Academy in Lucknow.

Jagjivan Ram RPF Academy, Lucknow

The Jagjivan Ram RPF Academy in Lucknow was founded in 1955 under the Ministry of Railways. It is a premier training institute for Probationers, IRPFS Cadre officers and RPF Sub-Inspectors.

Railway Protection Force

The Railway Protection Force has been playing a vital role in protecting railway property and ensuring the safety of passengers and their belongings since 2004. 

It is worth mentioning that the RPF has the highest percentage of female representation, accounting for 9%, among all the Armed Forces in India.
