The Prime Minister recently inaugurated the Civil Aviation Research Organization (CARO) center in Hyderabad, at Begumpet Airport. This is a major development for the aviation sector in Telangana.
In addition, the Prime Minister laid the foundation stone and dedicated multiple development projects worth over Rs 6,800 crores in Sangareddy, Telangana.
Road projects:
The Prime Minister inaugurated two National Highway projects - Kandi to Ramsanpalle section of NH-161 and Miryalaguda to Kodad Section of NH-167. The former is a part of Indore - Hyderabad Economic Corridor, and it will reduce travel time between Hyderabad and Nanded by 3 hours. The latter will boost tourism and economic activity in the region.
Rail projects
The Sanathnagar - Moula Ali rail line was doubled and electrified, and six new station buildings were inaugurated by the Prime Minister as part of the MMTS Phase - II project.
The project includes six new station buildings at Ferozguda, Suchitra Centre, Bhudevi Nagar, Ammuguda, Neredmet and Moula Ali Housing Board stations. Doubling and electrification work will improve punctuality and speed of trains in the region. The Prime Minister inaugurated the MMTS Train Service connecting new areas in the eastern part of the city with the Western part of the twin city region.
Oil projects
The Prime Minister inaugurated the 1212 km Indian Oil Paradip-Hyderabad Product Pipeline, which ensures safe and economical transportation of petroleum products from Paradip Refinery to delivery stations in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana
