India has been ranked 49th out of 64 economies in the World Digital Competitiveness Ranking (WDCR) released by the International Institute for Management Development (IMD).

  • Denmark slipped to fourth place due to a decline in future preparedness and technology factors.
  • Switzerland excelled in the knowledge factor and maintained its position in the top five.
