David Warner Announces Retirement From ODI Cricket After Test

Australian batsman David Warner has announced his retirement from Test and ODI cricket. Warner will play the last Test match of his career against Pakistan in Sydney on January 3, 2024. Cricket Australia has also confirmed Warner's retirement from ODI through its official account.

David Warner also announced his retirement from ODI cricket in a press conference held in Sydney on January 1, 2024.

Now Warner will focus on T-20:

Warner has announced his retirement from ODI and Test to concentrate on T20.
He can be a part of the Australia team in the T20 World Cup to be held in West Indies and America in June.
Warner will play at least four matches for Sydney Thunder in the Big Bash after the end of the Test series against Pakistan.
After this, Warner can play for Dubai Capitals in ILT20. Warner has requested that NOC from Cricket Australia play in the ILT20 league. The first match of the Dubai team will be played on 21 January 2024.

David Warner was Australia's top scorer in India's ODI World Cup 2023. Warner scored 535 runs in 11 matches played in the ODI World Cup at an average of 48.63. His strike rate was 108.29. Warner also scored 2 centuries and 2 half-centuries.
