SSC Selection Post Eligibility Criteria 2024

Before applying for the Selection Post recruitment, a candidate should know the eligibility criteria, which are specified by the Commission. Nationality

A candidate must be either: 

(a) A citizen of India, or 

(b) A subject of Nepal, or 

(c) A subject of Bhutan, or 

(d) A Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1 January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or 

(e) An individual of Indian origin who has relocated to India with the intent of permanent settlement from countries like Pakistan, Burma, and Sri Lanka, as well as East African nations such as Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam.

Age Limit

  2. If you're a new user, look for an option to register or create a new account. If you already have an account, you can log in with your existing credentials.
  3. After logging in, you'll be directed to a new page. Here, you'll need to enter your basic personal details. This may include your name, parents' names, email address, gender, date of birth, mobile number, and postal address.
  4. You may be required to upload documents such as your Aadhar card, a passport-sized photo, and your digital signature. Make sure that these documents adhere to the prescribed format and size criteria.
  5. Once your basic details and documents are uploaded, you'll typically need to fill out the application form. Provide information about your educational qualifications and experience. The website will usually prompt you to select the specific job posts you want to apply for based on your qualifications.
  6. At the end of the application form, you'll be directed to a payment section. Submit the application fees according to your category. SSC usually accepts online payment through various modes, such as debit/credit cards, net banking, or e-challan.
  7. After successfully completing the payment, review your application to ensure that all information is accurate. Once you're satisfied, proceed by clicking the "Submit" or "Final Submit" button. Make sure to submit your application before the specified closing date.

Application Fees 

To complete the application process, candidates need to submit the application fee as per their categories. The application fee can be paid online through BHIM UPI, Net Banking, or using Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, RuPay Credit, or Debit cards.
