NITI Aayog and the Embassy of the Netherlands in India released the report titled 'LNG as a transportation fuel in medium and heavy commercial vehicles' on 6 February 2024. This report was released during the celebration of India Energy Week 2024 in Goa.

The Netherlands has been cooperating with NITI Aayog since 2020:

  • NITI Aayog and the Netherlands are actively collaborating in the area of energy transition under a Statement of Intent partnership since 2020. This report has been issued as the first result of mutual cooperation between the two sides.
