Six-year-old Takshvi Vaghani from Ahmedabad has made the record of shortest limbo skating by 25 metres. This has been confirmed by Guinness World Records (GWR) on 18 April 2024.

  • GWR's record-keeper also shared a video of six-year-old Takshvi Vaghani, a resident of Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
  • In this video, Takshvi Vaghani is seen completing this challenge easily. She had created a new world record on March 10 last year.
  • 16 cm (6.29 in) by Takshvi Vaghani, the clip was captioned. The video of the new record holder was also shared by news agency ANI on 18 April 2024.

Takshavi breaks limbo skating record:

  • Manasvi Vishal is the former holder of the lowest limbo skating record of over 25 metres. According to Guinness World Records the previous record holder for lowest limbo sacking of more than 25 meters was also an Indian. It was Manasvi Vishal of Pune who first achieved this distinction. Manasvi had achieved this feat by covering a distance of 25 meters with a height of 16.5 centimeters from the ground. But Takshvi covered a distance of 16 cm and broke Manasvi Vishal's record and created a new record.

A unique record in the name of Shrishti Dharmendra Sharma:

  • An 18-year-old Indian skater named Shrishti Dharmendra Sharma had set a new world record in July 2023. Shrishti Dharmendra Sharma completed the 50 meters distance in 6.94 seconds and achieved the fastest time to limbo skate that distance. She improved her own record of 7.38 seconds.

  • Limbo skating is a sport. In this, a person wears roller skates on his/her feet and passes under long rods or bars. In this sport, he/she has to cover a long distance in a short time by extending both his/her legs without hitting the bars or the ground. Limbo skating is also called roller limbo.
